Zignature Dog Muffins

Equipment Needed: 

    • Mixing bowl
    • Whisk or electric hand mixer
    • Baking pan
    • Oven

    Ingredients:

      • 1 medium banana, mashed
      • ½ cup unsweetened peanut butter (no Xylitol), or plain pumpkin puree as a substitute
      • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed (used as a binder)
      • 3 tbsp Greek yogurt
      • 1 tbsp melted honey
      • ⅔ cup chickpea flour
      • ½ cup shredded/grated carrots and blueberries
      • ¼ cup canned Zignature Wet Dog Food

      Directions:

        1. Preheat your oven to 350-375°F.
        2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed banana, peanut butter (or pumpkin puree), ground flaxseed, Greek yogurt, and melted honey.
        3. Gradually add chickpea flour, shredded carrots, blueberries, and Zignature Wet Dog Food. Mix until well combined.
        4. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

          Ingredients:

            • 1 cup chickpea flour
            • 1/2 cup Zignature canned dog food
            • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
            • ⅓ cup blueberries (or substitute with another vegetable or fruit)

            Directions:

              1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
              2. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, Zignature canned dog food, ground flaxseed, and blueberries to form a dough-like consistency.
              3. Roll out the dough and separate into 1-inch circles.
              4. Place the circles on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

                • Blender
                • Freezer

                Ingredients:

                  Directions:

                    1. In a blender, combine blueberries, water or bone broth, Greek yogurt, and Zignature Canned Dog Food. Blend until smooth.
                    2. Pour the mixture into silicone molds and place in the freezer for 3-5 hours or until frozen solid.
