Pongo Fund

We got the opportunity to work with The Pongo Fund, a volunteer driven public charity for pet foods located in Portland, Oregon. The organization strongly believe in “providing quality food and vital veterinary care for the family pets of our community’s most vulnerable, keeping them safe, healthy and out of the shelters.”

Founder and Director, Larry Chusid shares a story with us about Leonard, a street dog that was looking for some food:

“Just a few days ago a young street dog named Leonard enjoyed some Zignature. Out of eight different foods offered, the Zignature Turkey Limited Ingredient Formula Grain-Free Dry Dog Food was the only food he would eat. It was not part of your recent donation, but rather one of your customers purchases a few bags of Zignature each month to donate to The Pongo Fund, and it had come from her. She feeds Zignature Turkey to her own dogs, and it’s a food she believes in, so she also shares with us.

If you could have been there to see our joy to find a food Leonard would eat, well, in that moment you would understand the reason for our celebration.

Thank you, and to everyone at Zignature, for being in this with us.”

We got the pleasure of donating 2 pallets of Zignature dog food—1 pallet of Guinea Fowl Bags and 1 pallet of Guinea Fowl Bags—for dogs like Leonard who desperately need food to survive. Because The Pongo Fund is fully volunteer based, donations to their Pet Food Bank are much appreciated. Visit their website for more info and how to donate: https://www.thepongofund.org
