Hurricane Dorian made national headlines on August 24, 2019, with stories of the families and animals in the Bahamas who needed help and were severely impacted by the natural disaster. Around 70,000 people and countless animals were affected by the hurricane.
Pets Global had the opportunity to help the animals impacted by Hurricane Dorian. More than 350 bags of Zignature and Fussie Cat were donated to the affected areas, including Marsh Harbour, a town in the Bahamas most affected by the hurricane. Pets Global partnered with retailer Paws on the Avenue, a pet store located in Lake Worth, Florida. Paws of the Avenue sells a wide variety of pet supplies and services to the local Florida area, including pet adoptions, training, nutrition, and a local pet bakery. Together with Pets Global, the products were safely delivered to the hurricane-ravished areas.
